The self-retractable lifeline is a fall arrester with an independent blocking funcion and an automatic tensioning and retracting feature for the lanyard,i.e. the retractable lanyard.
The self-retractable lifeline are equipped with a galvanized steel rope or a high-strength webbing lanyard, this device must be proven to have passed CE and ANSI testing.
There are fall arresters available with different housings(ABS plastic and metal) and with different lanyard lengths of up to 40m for different working and enviroment conditions.
